Being vigilant
According to various online news sources, AWS Vice President of Infrastructure Operation, Chris Vonderhaar sent a letter to data center staff to “be vigilant” against threats. He already stated that the company is monitoring the events closely and made Monday and Tuesday “blocked days” in some regions of the U.S, meaning employees can’t make major product updates or changes without senior management’s approval. The email said,
“We all need to be vigilant during this time to keep one another and our facilities safe. If you see something, say something, no situation or concern is too small or insignificant.”
