Critical national and cyber infrastructures
The duo also announced that the goal of the partnership is to establish a complete Italian supply chain to deliver Cloud solutions boasting a high level of reliability, scalability, and performance. For the new offering, the duo will combine Leonardo’s experience in Cyber Security services, specialist consultancy, and the planning and development of infrastructures with Aruba’s experience in planning and managing data centers and Cloud enterprise infrastructures, which means that it can provide unique, fully customized solutions.
The project also fits in with Aruba’s and Leonardo’s involvement in GAIAX, an initiative set up to create a Pan-European Cloud. For Leonardo, the partnership enhances the national supply chain for the protection of the most sensitive customer data and consolidates its own portfolio of solutions. Stefano Cecconi, CEO, Aruba, said,
“We are proud to have been chosen by Leonardo as a partner for this all-Italian project designed to provide a response to the growing needs of Public Administration and businesses in terms of performance, reliability, protection and security for the systems that look after their data. Our Cloud, our Italian Data Centers and Leonardo’s Cyber Security services offer an incredibly concrete, readily available response.”
