Google Cloud Platform decided to extend its partnership with Nutanix, the Xi Frame provides an efficient solution to run Windows or Linux remote desktop applications. Users can take advantage of GCP’s flexible sources.
Today Google announced the new partnership with Nutanix is generally available on a blog post. According to the post, the partnership offers a cloud-native, simple and powerful solution to run both on Windows and Linux remote desktop applications on any device. With XiFrame and Google Cloud, to run a remote application, users only need a web browser.
Anywhere and any device
There are two options while deploying Xi Frame on GCP. The frame can manage all the infrastructure resources for the user, or the user can manage GCP resources to customize the network. The partnership also offers:
- Google Cloud Platform: Support for GCP across all regions, with a variety of VM types to fit your workload needs, including GPUs.
- Google Chrome OS: Integration with Chromebooks and devices enables users to launch Windows applications directly from the ChromeOS shelf.
- Google Drive and File Stream: Help keep your files safe, secure and always available with Google Drive, including on shared drives.
- Google Cloud Identity: Sign in with Google to authenticate your users, and automatically connect to Google Drive after first sign in.
