Microsoft reveals the Azure Synapse Analytics that brings a new approach to analytics and data warehouse at Ignite 2019 event.
Microsoft announced that two new services, Azure Arc and Azure Synapse Analytics, that will boost Microsoft’s cloud offerings will be available to enterprises soon. New services were announced during Microsoft’s Ignite 2019 evet in Orlando. According to Microsoft, Azure Synapse Analytics will bring a new approach to analytics and data warehousing and Azure Arz is a new way to run Azure data services in anyone’s cloud. Microsoft also claimed that a new quantum-computing-as-a-service offering and some AI technologies will be added to the company’s cloud services

Azure Synapse Analytics combines data warehousing and Big Data analytics for enterprises. In Azure Synapse, professionals will be able to query both relational and non-relational data at petabyte scale, using the SQL language. With intelligent workload management, professionals can easily optimize the performance of all queries for the mission-critical workloads.
Microsoft’s chief technology officer for data, Raghu Ramakrishnan said:
“Instead of trying to add more features to each of our services, we decided to take a step back and figure out how to bring their core capabilities together to make it easy for customers to collect and analyze all of their increasingly diverse data, to break down data silos and work together more collaboratively.”
