NetFoundry, a provider of zero trust, high performance, cloud-native networking, and Fortress Data Centers, a provider of mission-critical data environments at the Edge, unveiled the first solution to enable end-to-end, cloud-based orchestration and delivery of edge and IoT applications, regardless of how many underlay networks and clouds they traverse.
Universal Connected Compute Service
Fortress Data Centers and NetFoundry have teamed to provide the Universal Connected Compute Service that simplifies networking, enabling Intelligent Edge application developers to innovate, and provides an operational structure built for the continuously computing paradigm. The service integrates NetFoundry’s zero-trust Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform with Fortress’s edge data center capabilities.
Jason Warner, CEO and Founder of Fortress Data Centers, said,
“We are pleased to move forward with NetFoundry on offering our customers the Universal Connected Compute Service which will make edge deployment of new technologies such as AR, VR, AI and blockchain faster, more secure and scalable.”
Additionally, Universal Connected Compute Service simplifies the implementation of advanced future leading-edge use cases such as augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI and ML), and spatial computing.
