Private cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud computing provider, Nutanix announced that the company has appointed Rajiv Ramaswami as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately and as a member of the Board of Directors, effective December 14. Former CEO and co-founder Dheeraj Pandey previously announced his plans to retire as CEO of Nutanix.
Over 30-year track record
Ramaswami is an experienced industry executive who has held various executive roles at VMware, Broadcom, Cisco, Nortel, and IBM. Ramaswami has over 30 years of experience in building and scaling cloud, software, and network infrastructure companies.
Prior to joining Nutanix, his latest role was Chief Operating Officer, Products and Cloud Services at VMware. Rajiv Ramaswami, President and CEO of Nutanix, said,
