Otava and Veeam go into a partnership to create a new suite of cloud backup solutions

New suite of cloud backup solutions with expanded partnership of Otava and Veeam

Otava expanded its long-term relationship with Veeam Software. Otava and Veeam Software which serves backup solutions that deliver Cloud Data Management announced the expansion of their partnership.

In accordance with this collaboration, they released a new cloud backup portfolio based on Veeam Availability Suite. Now, Otava has three new products powered by Veeam – Otava Cloud Connect, Otava-Managed Cloud Backup, and Self-Managed Cloud Backup. These three products are designed for managing backups and data from a single console.

Strong security and independent Cloud backup

Otava Cloud Connect which serves as a primary or secondary data repository for clients to have strong security protection from ransomware and other malicious attacks thanks to Veeam Insider Protection that creates a 7-day backup window. Moreover, Veeam Insider Protection provides an extra copy of data in the event it is remotely wiped.

Otava-Managed Cloud Backup is designed to facilitate managing their backup consoles by protecting mission-critical data without any of the OPEX overhead. The last product, self-managed Cloud backup provides clients the independence, visibility and single pane of glass while controlling their backup processes.
