Hybrid cloud optimization, artificial intelligence for IT operations, and performance monitoring for digital transformation solutions provider, Virtana announced that the company has appointed Kash Shaikh as President and Chief Executive Officer. The company stated that the seasoned business transformation leader brings experience in infrastructure and cloud markets.
Infrastructure and cloud market experience
Prior to his role at Virtana, Shaikh was Global Vice President and General Manager for the Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions business for Dell Technologies. During his leadership, Dell Technologies grew 28% under his leadership to $1.7B. Shaikh led the business units through transformation, re-engineering investments, creating new business models, building partner alliances, offshoring, and outsourcing relationships. Before his career at Dell, Shaikh served as Vice President, Global Marketing and Business Development of Ruckus Wireless, which is acquired by Brocade. Kash Shaikh, President and CEO, Virtana, said,
