Digital Realty company and European provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data center solutions, Interxion announced Lamda Hellix acquisition. With the acquisition, Digital Realty will be able to access one of the region’s fastest-growing markets and a gateway to an increasingly important connectivity hub. Lamda Hellix, a carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection provider in Greece, offers cloud, colocation, and connectivity solutions. Its data center campus in Athens is Southeastern Europe’s largest and the most interconnected in Greece.
280 data centers across 24 countries

The acquisition of Lamda Hellix bolsters Interxion’s and Digital Realty’s global footprint, which includes more than 700 connectivity providers in over 280 data centers across 24 countries. Lamda Hellix’s two data centers hosting approximately two-thirds of Greek data center communities and with its headquarter in Athens, it serves as an emerging interconnection hub at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
