Bart van Aanholt has been appointed as the CCO for the largest regional data center provider in the Netherlands, NorthC. 16 years of experience
As Country Director Benelux & Nordics, he played a key role in the transition from a centrally managed organization to independently operating local offices. His last job was Pre-sales and Field Marketing for the EMEA markets outside of the UK, in which he was in charge of Sales. Bart van Aanholt lives in the metropolitan area Amsterdam, with his wife and daughter. Bart van Aanholt, CCO, NorthC, said,
“The data center industry and especially NorthC are characterized by strong growth and a strong drive to innovate. The data center is the beating heart of every cloud environment and more organisations are starting to recognize that. Whereas previously, IT and the cloud typically were topics for the IT manager and the CIO, they have now become strategic topics for the CEO or MD. This means that the NorthC’s traditional role of co-location service provider has evolved into that of trusted advisor for different topics, including digital transformation, transition to the cloud and connectivity. NorthC is ready to invest and we are on the lookout for new possibilities for expansion. And it is really great to see a start-up-like mentality here, people are truly driven to build something new, even though NorthC already has ten regional data centers throughout the Netherlands.”
