GitHub Sponsors for companies
GitHub introduced GitHub Sponsor last year, allowing individuals to support developers. With the launch of GitHub Sponsors for companies, organizations will be able to invest in open-source developers and projects that they depend on. GitHub supports payment via credit card or PayPal. GitHub also stated that investing in open-source is as easy as just adding it to your GitHub bill.
GitHub also introduced GitHub Enterprise Server 3.0. According to the announcement, the company will start shipping GitHub Enterprise 3.0 to its enterprise customers in the next few weeks. It brings built-in CI/CD and automation capabilities to the platform with GitHub Actions and Packages. Additionally, it allows customers to automate Advanced Security, which includes code and secret scanning. GitHub Enterprise 3.0 now also supports GitHub for mobile.
