Padtec announced its TM800G and TM1200G, support high capacity applications with DWDM technology for short, medium, and long distances. Padtec allows service providers to combine multiple 100Gbps client signals into a single network signal, with line rates from 100 Gbps to 600 Gbps. The company also announced that its new LightPad i6400G platform’s transponders combine a high data transmission rate at a lower cost.
1RU high and 300 mm deep
The unit, only 1RU high and 300 mm deep, supports rack mounting for data centers and telecom locations. The company also states that the new generation of transponders is more flexible network interfaces that allow better adaptation of optical channels. Manuel Andrade, CEO, Padtec North America, said,
