After the acquisitions of certain assets of Hostlab and the security brand Securelive, HostPapa, a Canadian cloud services provider specialized in providing web hosting solutions and cloud services for small and medium businesses, is continuing its expansion with the launch of two new data centers: one in the US-West (California), and the other in Europe (Amsterdam).
For customers, choosing a data center in closer proximity to their location may improve the overall performance of their website and optimize the delivery of web page content and load speed. Because it reduces the physical distance between the server and the user. With the launch of these new data center locations, HostPapa clients can locally host their cloud-based services like websites and email in regions around the world, which may assist with reducing latency and improvement of data-transfer speeds.
HostPapa founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Opalchuk, said:
“To satisfy the demand of our clients for additional local points of presence and continuing our ongoing investment in enhancing our technology offerings, we are excited to announce two new data center locations today. Adding these data centers confirms HostPapa’s strong commitment to customers in the European and United States markets.”
The Canadian web hosting solutions provider will continue to invest in other geographically dispersed data center locations soon. At the beginning of May, HostPapa acquired certain assets of HostLabs, the infrastructure and cloud brand and SecureLive, previously owned by Add2Net.
