One.com, a European provider of web hosting services and domain names to small-to-medium enterprises (‘SMEs’) and small-office home-offices (‘SOHOs’), acquired Zoner Oy, a fast-growing Finnish web hosting company. This acquisition marks the sixth in a series of purchases made by the group in the past year.
A very interesting investment for One.com
Finally, One.com announced the acquisition of Hostnet. The completed acquisition of Hostnet was the first acquisition in Finland for One.com. One.com is a leading supplier of web hosting services in Europe, having currently more than 1,500,000 customers in 149 countries. Waselius & Wist team included Fredrik Lassenius (Picture), Niko Markkanen, Jouni Kautto, Charlotta Sittnikow, Henri Kaskimo and Ville-Veikko Vänttinen.

Stephan Wolfram, CEO of group.ONE, said,
“Zoner has shown impressive growth over recent years. Together with their attractive product portfolio, it makes them a very interesting investment for us. The Finnish market is in many ways similar to the other Northern European countries where we already lead the market for hosting and web services. We therefore see this acquisition as an excellent opportunity to further strengthen regional leadership by establishing a local presence in Finland.”
