Web.com Group has acquired Freeparking, domain name registrar and web hosting, provider. This acquisition shows the Web.com Group’s strategic expansion into Australian, New Zealand. In addition to this, the web technology company has expanded into Southeast Asian markets with its acquisition of Dreamscape Networks last year.
A strategic expansion
Freeparking, an Umbrellar Group premium brand, that is launched in 2000, serves more than 90,000 customers and operates four brands including Freeparking, Open Host, Domains4less and Discount Domains.
Sharon Rowlands, CEO and president, Web.com Group, talked about the acquisition, saying,

Web.com has acquired 100% of the shares of Webcentral for approximately $12.2 million in 2020 July.
