If you are one of the many Facebook users waiting for the dark theme, you don’t have to wait for it anymore. You can do it even without browser extensions.
The dark theme for Facebook is one of the long-awaited and highly anticipated features for the most popular social network. We already know that the Facebook team is working on the project but if the white theme is too eye-straining for you and you don’t want to wait for the official theme, there is a simple solution for you to make your Facebook interface darker.
Chrome forces the dark
If you are using the latest version of Chrome on your desktop device, with a simple feature you can get the dark theme that you wanted. To enable the feature, you have to type chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark in the address bar. Then from the “Force Dark Mode for Web Contents” drop-down box, select the “enable” instead of the “default” option. After restarting the browser, you’ll notice that every site you visit goes dark. If you want to switch to the default interface, you can simply follow these steps again and change it to the “default” again.
