With the expansion, the company will be able to offer fully diverse wavelength solutions at speeds up to 400G to the organizations in these EdgeConneX locations along with access to its full suite of ethernet and internet services.

Windstream Wholesale also stated that Pittsburgh and Detroit are two major industrial and research hubs that will benefit from low-latency, high-bandwidth network solutions. EdgeConneX data centers are designed to offer customers a way to deliver content and applications to local-market consumers, with the lowest possible latency and most efficient placement.
