Zoom resolved the Sunday morning outage

Popular video conferencing platform Zoom hit by an outage on Sunday morning. While thousands of people were having issues with the service, the UK appeared to have been particularly badly affected. Users began reporting issues with the app from 9 am BST.

The UK has badly affected

The number of Zoom users has been increasing day by day.  The number of daily users has reached to 200 million people last month, from 10 million in December. However, security concerns and some technical issues keep going. The company shared an update about the outage on the company’s status page just before 10 AM ET:

“Our team is investigating the root cause of issues joining Zoom Meetings. These issues appear to be limited to a subset of users.”

As of 11:39 AM ET, the company tweeted:

“Zoom Meetings and Zoom Video Webinars if they restart their sessions. We will continue to assess this matter that impacted a subset of our users and monitor to ensure no further operational impact.”

The reason for the outage is still unclear. Zoom only apologized for any inconvenience this might have caused.
