- Title: Application Penetration Testing, Dark Web and Attack Surface Monitoring
What is ImmuniWeb?
ImmuniWeb was founded by Illia Kolochenko, who is a Swiss application security expert and entrepreneur and still the CEO of the company. After his career as a penetration tester, he founded his first company, High-Tech Bridge in 2008. He also invented Multilayer Application Security Testing Technology to improve traditional penetration testing. In the mid-2010s, the company started its transformation to a global application security company. In 2019, ImmuniWeb became the consolidated global brand of the Geneva-based High-Tech Bridge.
The company’s security team released more than 500 security advisories that affect various software, including open-source and commercial web applications. Its security Research Lab is also registered as CVE and CWE compatible by MITRE and became one of the 24 organizations that have been able to achieve CWE certification at the time.
High-Tech Bridge released its SSL/TLS configuration testing tool in 2015 that validates SSL or TLS configuration against NIST guidelines and checks PSI DSS compliance. In the same year, the company was awarded as being ‘the most complete hybrid offering available’ in Frost & Sullivan’s 2015 Market Insight. The following year, it was selected as Red Herring Europe 2016 Winner and named as an Industry Innovator in the Analysis and Testing category. ImmuniWeb received more awards in the following years. It is also a member of CREST, Online Trust Alliance, IMPACT Alliance, and ITU-D Global Cybersecurity Partnership, which is a part of the International Telecommunication Union.
