Acronis acquires CyberLynx

Acronis announced the acquisition of CyberLynx, to enhance its cyber protection portfolio with additional services.

Acronis acquires CyberLynx

Cyber protection company, Acronis announced that it has acquired Israel-based cybersecurity consultancy firm, CyberLynx. Security audits, penetration testing, and proprietary training solutions provider, CyberLynx, has a global presence built on technical expertise and strong connections with leading forensic suppliers. CyberLynx’s capabilities will now allow Acronis to follow its mission to deliver cyber protection to organizations.

Acronis announced that the company will integrate CyberLynx’s services into its own Acronis Security Services. With CyberLynx expertise, Acronis will be able to better assist managed service providers and managed security service providers. The acquisition also allows Acronis to add new layers of dynamic security and training services to its community of 50,000 IT channel partners. The company also announced its plans to consider additional acquisitions that will further enhance its offerings with new technologies and capabilities. Serguei Beloussov, Founder and CEO, Acronis, said,

“Adding CyberLynx to our portfolio helps Acronis provide security evaluations services to our partners, empowering them to improve their clients’ protection. Working with our security team and global network of Cyber Protection Operation Centers, we will assist MSPs as they transition to MSSPs delivering training in incident response, penetration testing, and forensic analysis.”
