Fortinet has collaborated with Microsoft to provide customers with a more natural way to connect, manage, and protect their cloud workloads on Microsoft Azure.
Fortinet has announced a partnership with Microsoft for helping clients to connect to the Azure Virtual WAN networking services with the use of Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN platform. With this partnership, Fortinet customers will have the chance to utilize Azure with the confidence to deploy any application in the cloud while maintaining a consistent operational model and risk management.
Collaboration to provide advanced protection
The Fortinet Security Fabric’s dynamic cloud solutions help Azure users connect and protect their cloud workloads and offer security capabilities that are delivered from the cloud. John Maddison, EVP of product and CMO at Fortinet said:
“Fortinet is helping our customers protect, consume and deliver cloud through our dynamic cloud security offerings. Using Microsoft Azure allows our customers to implement broad protection across their cloud deployments as well as on-premises infrastructure. Today’s announcement strengthens our collaboration as we work together to provide end-to-end security across the expanding digital attack surface.”
In addition to these new possibilities coming with the collaboration, Fortinet is also delivering FortiWeb Cloud WAF-as-a-Service from Microsoft Azure Marketplace. This solution provides an answer to the struggles of organizations wanting to find a working balance between operational overhead and security effectiveness to protect their web applications.
