Sparkle announced the opening of a new point of presence (PoP) in Casablanca which is located at Orange Maroc open data center in order to expand its business in Morocco. With this new PoP, Sparkle aims to provide corporate communication services to multinational enterprises.
Sparkle will connect customers’ headquarters with their branches in Morocco with Italian and European multinationals Ethernet and virtual private IP-VPN networks via this new PoP. This connection enables intracompany communication.
Sparkle Group said in the announcement:

In December 2019, Sparkle has added a new PoP in Lagos, Nigeria to existing African points of presence in Egypt, Tunisia, Tanzania, and Djibouti. Additionally, in June 2019, Sparkle launched its PoP in Aqaba, Jordan, collaborating with Naitel, a Jordan-based operator with proprietary data centers and a nationwide network.
