Cloud security provider, Trend Micro Incorporated announced the launch of a cloud-native, fully serverless file storage security tool for organizations building applications in the cloud. The new service, Trend Micro Cloud One – File Storage Security, is designed to mitigate threats across the cloud environment and support strict compliance requirements. The new service offers automated anti-malware scanning to keep information safe and ease compliance needs.
Lightweight, cloud-native serverless function

According to the announcement, it is a lightweight, cloud-native serverless function. It is designed for minimal operational overhead and backed by the company’s more than 30 years of cybersecurity experience and threat intelligence.
It blocks known bad files and looks for hidden or changing malware variants. Its architecture allows fast, seamless deployment and flexible integration with existing custom workflows. Mark Nunnikhoven, Vice President of Cloud Research, Trend Micro, said,
